Hello, everyone! Today we have a Mercedes CLS 3.0 CDI 2008 diesel 220 ECU, and want to use Foxflash ECU Programmer to clone and do EGR & FLAPS off.

 

We do the pinout of the EDC16CP31 on its six wires it is connected

We have the pinout below.

I’ve already connected everything.

Turn on the power

Run foxflash software, select Mercedes>> MPC563\4-Mercedes>> EDC16CP31

Click OK

First click Connect

It will ask you to turn off the ignition

Internet connection Internet available

Turn on… So everything joined

We need to calculate Flash and micro.

Then click Read Ext Flash

This is how we write Mercedes CLS. It’s original.

Click Save to save the data

Next click Read Int Flash Micro

Click Save to save the micro (eeprom) data as well

After that, click Davinci-EGR_DPF_DTC.exe

Select the original ext flash data just saved

Detect successfully

Continue to turn off EGR and FLAPS

Deactivate successfully as well

Save the file

Click LSuite.exe

Select the EGR_FLAPS file just deactivated, and click Run

Recalculated successfully

Click Save to save this file

Finally, back to foxflash software to write ext flash

Select the EGR_FLAPS file just recalculated to write

Checksum computed in writing, no need to correct

Click No and wait the ECU writing is successful.

Done!
